Eli's new shade for his room and I popped in a teddy someone knit for him. The presents he has gotten are ridiculous and people have been so good, I could never thank half of them. Certainly given the room an "Up" feeling, might go with it.
I think today it hit us that we feel kinda cheated, walking through the maternity ward and you see groups of families huddled around their babies. It's like we live an alternative life, one with Eli and one at home. It's so weird to have a baby whose 2 months old and no one bar the grandparents have seen him, it's so surreal.
this is the sad thing about this country and I sympathise with you both so much, I really hope that he will be home soon and that you can all start living a normal, chaotic, baby-filled life. xx
ReplyDeleteIt must be so hard for ye both. I can't wait for him to get home and start meeting everybody :) Love the shade btw, very cute!
